William Shatner’s new documentary, The Captains will be premiering at San Diego ComicCon this year. Check out the trailer below. The film focuses on Shatner meeting and interviewing all five captains from the Star Trek mythology. I think most of this sounds promising. I can’t say that I’m really intrigued to hear what Scott Bakula has to say about his turn in the captain’s chair, I’m sure the other actors will be captivating, funny and insightful all in their own turns.

Looks interesting. Let’s just hope it strays from the hokey “best friends forever” theme that plagued Star Trek V: The Search for More Money Final Frontier.
