New Evil Dead Film “In the works”

The fine people over at Dread Central have updated us with a bit of interesting information on the future of Evil Dead!

As we all know, another Evil Dead has been rumored to be ramping up for years, with Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell saying that it will totally be a thing soon enough. And this honestly sounds a bit like all the talk we’ve heard before.

Over on Twitter Bruce Campbell was asked about Evil Dead who asked, “I won’t believe in a new Evil Dead film until I see it. Or at least not until @GroovyBruce tells me to believe in it”. Bruce replied with an extremely straight forward answer, “Believe in the remake, dawg! The project is real. In the works. Cool as hell. Scary as hell.”

There you have it. Hopefully Bruce’s bold statement is fact and not a bit of wishful thinking or pondering on his part. As much as I LOVE Bruce Campbell, I have been let down a few times too many by posturing about a new Evil Dead or another Bubba Ho-Tep, so lets hope this bit of news is filled with complete truthiness.
