I’ll be the first to admit that I thought it was a bit ridiculous for Kevin Smith to auction off the distribution rights for Red State just to buy them himself. But I guess if it gets you a bit more press and some draw for the movie, who cares?
Now everybody will be reading this post thinking, hey, I remember that, he tried to sell the rights and then just bought them. Well I just said that, so you don’t need to repeat me.
Well theres a new and fairly long trailer for Red State Check it out below…
Is it me or did John Goodman lose some serious weight? He’s lookin’ pretty good! And it’s always nice to see The Drew Carey Show‘s Mr. Bell himself, Kevin Pollak these days.
This movie might be the perfect sort of crazy messed up cult movie to see!
Red State is coming to theaters this September.

I am uber excited about this movie. He’s taken a whole new way of doing films and marketing.
Plus I was almost an extra in the film, so that makes it kinda cool.
