Avengers Assemble! Sort of.

Now before everyone gets their hopes up on seeing a trailer for next Summer’s Avengers, there is as of yet, still no trailer out.

BUT! There’s a poster for the movie now! Well… sort of.

The The Licensing International Expo is going on in Vegas right now. It’s an expo where attendees get to see the latest licensing and merchandise programs. You know, like action figures, t-shirts, things like that. Well one property that’s showing up now is The Avengers!

Take a look at the Captain America costume! My guess is that this is the costume he might have by the end of the Captain America movie coming out this July. Either way it’s a new costume for him. And it looks like for Iron Man they axed the triangle-style arc reactor from Iron Man 2 and went back to the circular arc reactor on his chest.

Now before you start to get confused as to why they look a bit funny and sort of comicy, its because they are just illustrations, much like the Captain America and Thor images we saw last year:

Now you would never actually see this poster in any movie theaters, instead it might be the backing for an action figure box etc. But it’s still pretty cool to finally see The Avengers all assembled, even if it’s just for merchandising.

Anyone else wondering if Hulk is behind them getting ready to Hulk-smash all of them instead of helping them?
