Some of you might remember a Swedish film back in 2008 about a little girl and a boy. It was a sweet love story where one of the characters is a vampire doomed to forever be a child forever. Sound familiar? It was Let the Right One In. It was also a pretty awesome and interesting take on an already over saturated vampire movie genre.
Well the Director, Tomas Alfredson, is coming out with a new movie. A British spy thriller named Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. I’m starting to think that Tomas Alfredson has some sort of aversion toward short movie-titles, but I could be wrong…
The movie sports a pretty awesome cast of British actors, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Mark Strong and Benedict Cumberbatch.
The story is supposed to be a sort of anti-James Bond style spy story where reports of a mole within MI6’s higher echelons. Gary Oldman takes the lead as a almost-retired British spy sent to track track down the mole.
I can’t wait to see all these excellent actors together, I haven’t been as excited about a British male-centric movie since 44 Inch Chest.
