I caught this yesterday before the screen of X-Men: First Class (review coming soon). I’ve never really been a Planet of the Apes fan, so this trailer does little to entice me. I didn’t think that Tim Burton’s reboot did well enough (or was good enough) to warrant a prequel, but here it is. It looks like a pretty typical post-Jackson, CGI-heavy summer blockbuster. You can take it or leave it. I think I might just leave it.
