Van Damme and Chuck Norris Confirmed for Expendables 2

The first Expendables was supposed to be the end-all for action stars, right? There were plenty of action stars in it, many of them not really big names any more, some of them big in the early 90’s and just a few well known action stars.

You could say that Arnold and Bruce Willis were in the movie, but that’s like saying Star Wars: Episode 1 was good. It just wasn’t, and they weren’t really in the movie.

Well as you may or may not have heard a little while back, Arnold and Bruce Willis both signed on for Expendables 2. Apparently they will both be in fairly bigger roles than the previous movie!

That’s great! Now well all we need now to make this the truly ultimate movie is Van Damme and Chuck Norris.

Oh, whats that? BOTH of them have also been confirmed for Expendables 2?! Thats right. Sylvester Stallone himself confirmed Entertainment Weekly that Chuck Norris and Jean Claude Van Damme will definitely be in the film.

He went on to talk about a few big and past stars that might show up in the new movie, “We’ve got Chuck Norris and I think Nic Cage…I like using people that had a moment and then maybe have fallen on some hard times and give them another shot. So we’re always looking for actors like Michael Biehn and Michael Pare. I like those kinds of guys. Someone did it for me and I like to see if I can do it for them.”

Needless to say, this movie looks like it will be a huge slew of extremely well-known action stars! Here’s hoping this movie will be a bit more epic than the first one.
