I call tomfoolery on Dark Knight Rises

By now everyone saw the less than incredible teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, right? Where Commissioner Gordon is just chillin’ on a bed the whole time talking quietly to Bruce about some stuff, then BANE for 1/16 of a second.

It was ok, but nothing really special. Atleast with the initial Dark Knight trailer they had the joker talking, and he sounded freaking nuts. That made everyone think, woah! That guy is freaking nuts! Awesome!

Now lots of pictures and videos are coming out from The Dark Knight Rises set in Pittsburgh. Some of the pictures look cool, and some have seemed disconcerting.

But I think it’s all bunk!

Check out this video below, it’s of Tom Hardy (Bane) and his henchmen doing something in a stadium. The weird voice is Tom Hardy:

Now the reason I’m calling tomfoolery on The Dark Knight is because I personally think there’s no way this movie is going to be as goofy as Tom Hardy’s voice in that clip. Often in movies they re-dub what the do on the set later on, which I’m guessing is the case with this scene.

Either that or Bane will just have a goofy voice and not be intimidating at all.

Some people have also been less than excited after seeing video of Bane and Batman fighting slowly in a big group of people in the middle of the day. If you go back and watch any good movie from any view other than “behind the camera”, they all tend to look ridiculous.

I’m sure the scene will look good and cool when they are all done with the editing on the movie. Perhaps it’s supposed to be a night scene and they are just filming it when there is better light, then just filter the scene in post production.

This is the problem with getting so many videos out on such a big movie, the instant you see something that looks goofy, everyone starts to think the final product will be exactly the same.

Just wait, I’m sure the movie will be awesome.

Or it will be just like Spiderman 3.
