If you haven’t heard of Apollo 18 yet, just be warned that it is NOT in any way a sequel to Apollo 13. It is actually a new sci-fi/horror movie filmed in a found-footage style.
They just released a new trailer that shows a lot more about the movie, it looks like it could be quite intriguing! I just hope they actually stick to the found-footage style through the whole movie and dont just randomly transition into sporadic, jerky camera style like most horror movies do these days. There’s something much more scary about seeing a monster creep slowly by a stationary security camera then seeing a moving close up on the thing with lots of random loud camera jumps to its hideous face and teeth! OH NO! NOT TEETH!
Well anyway, here’s hoping that this movie will stay true to the found-footage style and not jazz it up unnecessarily (see 2/3’s of the way through District 9)
